IT ALL STARTED WITH A VISION
DUAL (SOUL)s is the artist’s manifestation of a vision.
DUALs are soulmates representing two individuals with one shared soul. They represent self-determined characters forming a unity of independent togetherness: being close to each other and feeling free at the same time without loosing one-self.
UR-DUALs is the seed for all DUALs lines and an infinite cosmos of characters. It comprises several series with specific themes. Each of them represents different concepts and motifs, which two human beings have to face and work on to evolve together being a mirror and catalyst for one another.
Beside acrylic paintings on canvas, there also exist sketches of variations to be realized for future exhibition.

jeaN Nejadi is a German-Iranian self-taught artist. She is born in Shiraz (Iran) and currently based in Cologne, Germany.
She discovered her passion for painting at an early age. As the opportunity for education in art failed to appear, she followed her second passion and studied Mathematics. A Postgraduate course brought her to Germany in 2003. Since 2023 she fully dedicates her life to art as expression of self-realization.
Her child-like persona shines through her art cosmos of iconic characters inciting joy and happiness. Born within a family going back to the nomadic Qashqai people she is influenced through their culture and colorful, simple, pure way of life mirrowed in Gabbeh carpet motives, which had an impact on many of her artworks subconsciously. Intuitively, with strong sensitiveness she creates expressive and spirited characters as well as compositions in her own unmistakable way. Her artistic, multifaceted approach is a truthful reflection of her unique inner world opening a new chapter in the art field.
